FAMILY-FRIENDLY OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES IN SENTOSA

For one little island, Sentosa is jam-packed with fun stuff for families.
With thrill rides, play areas, museums, and plenty of hotel and dining options, Sentosa is a stomping ground for kids and adults alike. But the one thing that really makes the State of Fun, fun, is the beach!
Besides building sandcastles, or just rolling around in the sand, there are plenty of unique activities that you can do with the whole family. Here, we suss out some of the best places to have fun in the sun with the whole clan in Sentosa.
Do note that all guests must wear masks, check in and out via SafeEntry and have your temperature screened before entering the attractions and restaurants. There are plenty of signs and floor markers to guide you along. Find out more about our safe measurement measures here.
A family car race at Skyline Luge Sentosa

Hop on the Skyline Luge Sentosa for a unique go-karting experience, but not before you and the kids take the Skyride chairlift to the top of the Luge track, where a stunning view of Sentosa awaits. Once you’ve reached the top, board your Luge and zoom down 600 metres worth of trails at your own speed.
Do note that children must be at least 85cm tall to be able to ride on the Skyride with an adult, and at least 6 years old and 110cm tall to ride the Luge alone.
Kids who are not tall enough can ride the Luge in tandem with a parent (get a child doubling ticket at just S$3).

Glide on a Segway
Here’s something cool you can do along Sentosa’s beaches as a family: Segway rides. Glide around the beaches on a super-cool Segway personal transporter. No effort required, and it’s super easy with the free training provided. It also makes for excellent photo ops. Prices begin at an affordable $17.50 per person with this great deal.
Let the young ones run wild at Nestopia
For something a little less hair-raising, there’s Nestopia. This unique open-air play space comes with 17 play sections featuring netted obstacle courses connecting three giant nests and two of the longest slides on Sentosa. And it’s not all about the slides, and obstacles.
Throughout the day, there are face painting, balloon twisting, keychain making sessions that you can take part in surrounding shaded wooden tents. Perfect for kids aged 5 and above, this playground is located right next to Trapizza.

Make a pit-stop for some beach bites
There are plenty of pit-stop along Siloso Beach where you can rest your tired legs and fuel up for your next adventure.
Some of our favourite spots include Coastes where you can expect classic breakfasts and pub-style classics for weekend brunch beachside; Italian spot Trapizza, which is known for their wood-fired pizza, and Ola Beach Club for some Hawaiian-inspired fare. Check out our story about family-friendly restaurants on the island for more inspiration.

Family-friendly water activities
Designed for everyone to have fun, Hydrodash is a family-friendly inflatable playground that offers excitement and delights to people of all ages. Test your balance as you weave your way through this open water obstacle course. Challenge your family to see who’ll be the fastest to complete the course.
Though, with so much fun, coming in last won’t be such a bad thing.
